Role Description Our client is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to help design and scale core platform infrastructure and customer-facing analytics capabilities. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex distributed systems challenges, building high-performance data products, and contributing meaningfully within a small, high-ownership team. Key Technical Challenges - Scaling Event Ingestion: The platform ingests analytics events from customers (e.g., button clicks, transactions) and makes them queryable via SQL. The system must scale to millions of events per second while maintaining low latency (<30 seconds). - Warehouse-Native Product Analytics: The team is building a product analytics suite (similar to Mixpanel or Amplitude) that operates directly on a company’s existing SQL data warehouse. This includes significant front-end architecture, data engineering, and performance optimization work. - Real-Time Feature Flag Analytics: When developers release code, they need immediate insight into system health and feature adoption. The platform aims to provide real-time visibility that extends beyond traditional APM tools and delivers a comprehensive analytics solution. - Robust Multi-Database SQL Support: The platform supports 12+ SQL data sources, including Postgres, BigQuery, and PrestoDB, each with unique quirks and edge cases. Scaling this support requires building automated SQL test suites and dynamically provisioning complex cloud infrastructure. - Streaming Feature Delivery Service: When a feature flag is toggled, updates must propagate globally within seconds. The system must maintain extremely high reliability (99.999% uptime) while handling billions of requests per day. • You will work on engineering and project management assignments (design studies, feasibility studies, decommissioning studies) • Perform electrical design studies: single-line diagrams, layout plans, and power balance calculations • Monitor and validate design deliverables and supervise studies carried out internally • Develop and implement test plans in coordination with experimental/test teams • Prepare project cost estimates and monitor associated costs

• Manage full-life cycle of several small to large-scale oil & gas remediation projects, each at different phases • Maintain and oversee multiple projects and tasks simultaneously • Coordinate and train team members to perform day-to-day operations, including soil samples, hand auger tasks, installation of monitoring wells and oversight to the removal of impacted soil groundwater • Maintain and oversee project budgets and schedules; prepare work scopes, project plans and budgets to support project proposals • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and prepare cost estimates and proposals • Act as point of contact for clients • Develop technical writing including proposals, technical reports, permits & permit-related documents, and senior level reviews of peer prepared reports • Effectively communicate with team members on project status & staffing needs • Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops • Practice safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs • Participate in continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts • The position may require travel and an occasional overnight stay.
