Security Architect II

Akamai Technologies

• Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions. • Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and implementing Akamai security solutions to answer customers' security issues. • Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to scope and create technical solutions and support the implementation. • Participating in ongoing training initiatives to up-skill yourself and to train others.

Job Requirements

  • Have knowledge of web security and understanding of modern web security risks.
  • Demonstrate understanding of web protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP.
  • Have experience using Linux, scripting and log analysis.
  • Have experience providing technical solutions and support to an enterprise customers.
  • Show proactivity and work with a sense of urgency with a constant desire to learn.
  • Possess great communication skills including ability to explain complex technical content in English.
