• Own the implementation of standard configurations, custom development, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation • Lead deployment strategies during project development as defined by our architecture layer (source code management and deployment standards) • Apply troubleshooting strategies to identify and resolve implementation issues • Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment and follow our Professional Services methodology • Work remotely while collaborating with global teams to deliver across geographies • Collaborate and act as a Team Lead for multiple projects, serving as a technical reference for our entire implementation team

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of development experience on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Algorithm-oriented and logical mindset
  • Knowledge of JavaScript / front-end design (HTML and CSS)
  • Experience in programmatic (Apex, LWC, JavaScript) and declarative (low-code) Salesforce development
  • Experience in Salesforce deployment practices and strategies

Role Description Susan G. Komen is looking for a Senior Salesforce Architect who is passionate about joining a team of architects, developers, and administrators. The Senior Salesforce Architect is a hands-on leader with a background delivering highly scalable enterprise level Salesforce applications and integrations assets. This person understands all aspects of the Salesforce.com Sales / Marketing / Health Cloud and the force.com platform. - Lead functional day-to-day operations as part of Komen's SFDC Development team. - Serve as a point of contact for Marketing and Sales to provide maintenance, configuration, reporting, and training. - Lead SFDC enhancement projects to support business needs. - Work closely with Komen’s Marketing, Sales stakeholders, and various technology teams to define and implement technical solutions using Salesforce technologies. - Deliver testing and QA of enhancements/changes to salesforce.com deployment using the enterprise sandboxes. - Manage Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, and CRM systems and administration. - Lead architecture discussions, drive technical decisions, and participate in feature development and product roadmap planning. - Deliver multiple concurrent projects and ensure Agile development best practices are adhered to. - Represent departmental SDLC and adhere to development and deployment best practices. - Passion in leading a team that brings Salesforce ideas to life. - Ensure team provides Web/Application security. - Create and enable best practices, governance measures, and patterns for custom and configured solutions on the Salesforce platform. - Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps, and applications available from 3rd parties on the Salesforce AppExchange. - Other duties as assigned, per need of organization. Qualifications - At least 10+ years of total work experience and at least 5 years of experience in architecting, implementing, and administering Salesforce applications. - Salesforce Certifications of either Application Architect or System Architect. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Science, Mathematics, Economics, Physical/Life Science or equivalent field. - Significant experience in eagerly and collaboratively working with a team of Salesforce architects, developers, administrators, and other resources. - Demonstrated success in marketing program management and goal alignment. - Skill and comfort in proactively building relationships with technical and business colleagues and internal stakeholders. - Digital marketing expertise for acquisition, demand generation, engagement, and conversion campaign development. - Extensive successful writing and editing experience across a variety of communications materials and media channels. - Ability to formally document project and architectural requirements. - Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs while juggling multiple priorities. - Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Belief in the agile development process, and requirements techniques such as user stories, use cases, and informal modeling. - Passion for Komen’s mission.
