Inside Sales Executive
Rhenus Logistics
• Generate new sales leads through cold calling, market research, and business intelligence activities. • Research, identify, and structure information on potential customers using multiple data sources and media channels. • Support national and internal sales campaigns by managing lead data, tracking KPIs, and monitoring campaign performance. • Act as backup for the Sales team when Sales Managers are unavailable, ensuring customer requests and inquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner. • Prepare and provide accurate pricing and quotations based on approved tariffs and procurement rates. • Support Sales in locally controlled RFQs, including pricing coordination, documentation, and follow-up. • Develop additional business from existing customer accounts through proactive engagement and opportunity identification. • Conduct sales analysis on new and lost accounts, identifying trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. • Analyze quotation success rates and support initiatives to improve win ratios by identifying, rectifying, or escalating root causes. • Assist Sales with customer accreditation, onboarding, and compliance-related requirements. • Conduct competitor and market research to support sales positioning and pricing strategy. • Maintain and update company profiles, sales presentations, and customer-facing materials. • Prepare internal sales reports and dashboards and support the organization of monthly sales meetings. • Ensure high data quality and accuracy in CRM and sales systems, including Sugar CRM data quality standards. • Communicate, transfer, and follow up on guidelines, policies, and instructions issued by Management and the Sales Department. • Perform other reasonable duties or tasks as assigned to support sales and business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics industry.
- Previous experience in sales, inside sales, customer service, or commercial support is preferred.
- Basic understanding of logistics services such as air freight, ocean freight, trucking, and related supply chain solutions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to support sales analysis, reporting, and data quality requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional working attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and support business objectives.
