Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Christian Broadcasting Network - CBN
• responsible for the design, reliability, and ongoing improvement of the organization’s core technology infrastructure • plays a key role in ensuring the availability, recoverability, and operational stability of critical systems spanning on‑premises platforms and integrated cloud services • serves as a senior technical resource and escalation point, working closely with operations and technology teams to ensure infrastructure services remain resilient, well-documented, and aligned with organizational needs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and 10 or more years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering roles
- Strong experience with production virtualization platforms, primarily Microsoft Hyper‑V, with VMware considered a beneficial complement
- Intermediate‑level administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server and Linux, including use of hybrid management tools such as Azure Arc or comparable solutions
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms (e.g., Rubrik, Veeam) and performing restoration testing and operational validation, along with supporting disaster recovery solutions such as Azure Site Recovery in hybrid environments
- Foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure infrastructure services and integrating cloud capabilities with on‑premises systems, plus solid knowledge of internet‑facing components such as load balancers, web platforms, and transport security
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools, and strong working knowledge of core enterprise services including DNS, DHCP, directory‑integrated services, and certificate lifecycle management
- Scripting skills are a plus
- Client centric and able to work in a variety of environments; must be able to manage customer relationships
- Demonstrated expert level troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Proven communication & organizational skills; must have ability to communicate at all levels within the organization both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Project Management experience a plus
- Demonstrate life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s non-profit Christian mission.

Role Description: 2026 Summer & Fall Co-op – IT Engineering (6 months, Boston onsite) Role Purpose: Wasabi Technologies is seeking a motivated IT Co-op student to join our Information Technology team for the Summer 2026 term. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting a fast-growing global organization. You will assist with daily IT operations, contribute to technical projects, and learn how enterprise technology environments are designed, secured, and scaled. You will work closely with senior IT professionals while supporting identity management, endpoint management, SaaS platforms, security tooling, and service desk operations. Please note: Students must currently reside in the United States to be eligible for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first-level IT support through the ticketing system. - Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and account provisioning. - Support endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, and other MDM platforms. - Maintain asset tracking, documentation, and internal knowledge resources. - Assist with SaaS platform configuration and troubleshooting. - Participate in IT automation initiatives and cross-functional technology projects.
