M&A Research, Data Analyst
Vesta Software Group
• Evaluate potential acquisition targets using our investment criteria. • Assess corporations to identify viable carve-out opportunities. • Maintain and oversee data integrity within our CRM, ensuring accuracy of KPIs and dashboards. • Conduct detailed market analysis on new verticals and geographies to support expansion efforts. • Identify and map relevant software M&A advisors, from global firms to boutique consultancies. • Research and assess third-party data sources, industry lists, and trade conferences. • Assist in due diligence processes, including market analysis, contract review, and competitor research. • Support Business Development Executives and Group Leaders with specialized research initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Experience in Research and/or Financial Services is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity.
- Interest in the software and technology sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple sources.
- Solid understanding of research methodologies and M&A origination processes.
