Job Description

State Account Manager

Viatris

• Exceed sales & growth target metrics to maximise profitable growth for NSW • Execute strategic business plan which include targets, action plan & outcomes • Design and execute on comprehensive account plans in alignment with functional goals • Deliver on short, medium and long term acquisition plans • Analyse, understand, and manage a customer’s needs and requirements, offer solutions, and make recommendations that will enable ongoing financial success for the company • Preparation of sales proposals, tenders, bids and contracts, working with Sales Manager to ensure a central database is maintained • Rollout new customer onboarding planning, including critical aspects for success that align with the overarching strategic business direction • Work closely with the internal commercial finance team on deal and account modelling and ongoing deal structures that are best fit for market • Work closely with internal cross functional team, Key Account Managers, Business Excellence, and Commercial Finance • Drive process improvement and optimisation within the pharmacy space to ensure we deliver a best-in-class service model for our customers • Stay informed on pharmacy trends, changes, and competitor activities that may impact the market • Prepare and deliver regular reports to stakeholders, internal teams and customers • Assist with budget allocation for servicing the pharmacy relationships, ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Science or Business Sales
  • At least 1 years experience working within Australia’s generic market
  • 1-2 years’ experience in B2B complex sales environments
  • Proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder)
