• Define the technical strategy together with the Region Manager • Ensure that customers are getting the most value using our technology • Manage resource allocation to maximize customer satisfaction and professional development • Provide input on ways to improve workflows and the software • Act as a consultant and project manager in reservoir characterization projects • Support sales activities at the highest technical level • Collaborate in designing annual regional training program • Own Skills Assessment and development for all Technical Advisors (TA) in the region
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Geophysics
- 19+ years technical experience in geoscience and project management
- Background as geoscientist in reservoir characterization projects by means of Quantitative Interpretation and Seismic Analysis
- Commercial and business acumen to support efforts in promoting and eliciting professional services
- Experience with Jason & HampsonRusell software in reservoir characterization projects using Deterministic (Strata, InverTrace Plus & RockTrace) and Geostatistical (GeoSI, StatMod, RockMod) inversion approaches.
- Proven work experience in different reservoir types and basins including, clastic, carbonate and, unconventional plays.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently (about 20% of the time)
- Speak fluent English and Spanish
