Assistant Manager

EXL

• Support EXL’s Data Management team in executing end-to-end data lifecycle activities including data acquisition, profiling, cleansing, transformation, and governance. • Assist in maintaining and improving data quality frameworks, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation across client and internal systems. • Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to design efficient data pipelines and ensure consistent data standards across platforms. • Participate in project discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data management tasks and process improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles including data modeling, integration, and governance.
  • Hands-on experience or coursework in SQL, Python, data visualization (Tableau, Power BI), and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
