Senior Technical Program Manager

• Partner with product and engineering leaders to establish program planning, proactively manage risks, set clear objectives, and ensure strategic goals are met. • Lead transformation initiatives, ensuring successful program delivery. • Develop strategic roadmaps for partner programs, aligning cross-functional teams towards common goals. • Foster engineering excellence, advocating for reliable software systems and enhanced developer productivity. • Engage with partners across Software Engineering, Platform Infrastructure, Quality, and Infosec to craft solutions that strengthen OpenTable's software quality. • Lead and collaborate across the different levels of product development, sales, marketing, and support, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all teams.

Job Requirements

  • 6-10 years in software development program management across cross-functional projects.
  • 5+ years in a program management role.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate software engineering challenges.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience coordinating release schedules and building sustainable processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in automation and scripting, enabling the creation and optimization of workflows to automate various processes efficiently.
  • Preferable but not mandatory experience in 3rd Party Integration space, API integrations and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with using AI to solve business problems.

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (Security) to help drive adoption and understanding of Forward’s security capabilities across customers, partners, and the broader security community. As a Senior Security TME, you will sit at the intersection of product and go-to-market execution. You will translate Forward’s differentiated security capabilities into compelling security workflows, technical content, and field enablement that resonate with security practitioners and decision-makers. This is a non-quota-carrying, highly technical, and externally visible role with meaningful influence on product direction and market positioning. - Partner with Product Management to define, validate, and shape security-related capabilities and use cases. - Design and evangelize customer workflows to realize the value of security features. - Build and maintain lab environments to support demos, technical validation, and security use-case exploration. - Develop high-quality technical collateral for internal audiences, including training materials, demo guides, and sales enablement content. - Collaborate with Marketing to create external-facing assets such as whitepapers, solution briefs, blogs, presentations, and videos. - Enable Sales and Solutions teams with security-focused demos, messaging, and technical training. - Represent Forward Networks at customer meetings, webinars, and industry events, including security conferences and trade shows. - Contribute thought leadership on network security trends and Forward’s role in modern security architectures. - Gather field and market feedback to influence product roadmap and security positioning. Qualifications - 8+ years of experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer, Sales Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role. - Strong understanding of enterprise network security concepts, including firewall rules and security policy management. - Experience working with complex enterprise networks across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments. - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform and familiarity with virtualization and containerized environments. - Proven ability to build and operate lab environments for demos and technical validation. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or a related field. - Ability to work effectively across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams. Requirements - Experience with Attack Surface Management (ASM), Vulnerability Management, or related security platforms. - Familiarity with Threat Intelligence, SIEM, or broader risk management workflows. - Background in SOC operations, incident response, or Red Team activities. - Interest in AI/ML and how AI can improve security and network operations. Prior experience is not required, but curiosity and willingness to experiment with AI-driven workflows is encouraged. - Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages. - Working knowledge of Linux administration. - Familiarity with Forward Networks or similar network visibility, verification, or analytics platforms. - Experience presenting at conferences, webinars, or customer-facing technical events.
