The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - DevSecOps to join the High Fidelity Virtual Cab (HFVC) team based in Long Beach, California . This work includes managing cloud infrastructure, development pipelines, deployment pipelines, and managing computing infrastructure compliance for activities related to the development and integration of game engines, virtual machines, models and simulations. The ideal candidate is a leader, self-starter, enjoys working collaboratively with others, has a commitment to customer satisfaction and process improvement, and is successful working in a multi-program environment. This position will support the development of solutions to a wide range of complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. The candidate should be adaptable to new development environments and eager to work with and learn new technologies. This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate The selected DevSecOps candidate will be the Lead for the Simulation Integration & Modeling (SIM) organization, supporting multiple teams within SIM, including HFVC team. Duties will include: Support Boeing Software Factory (BSF) transition/cloud environments, setting up infrastructure to support complex simulations. Configure various AWS services such as EC2 instances, VPCs, security groups, subnets, and other AWS tools, along with Azure. Building a platform that helps the organization more fully adopt practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automated testing. Working on ways to continuously improve the stability, efficiency and performance of the platform. Maintain and manage servers to ensure IT compliance with Boeing's security and operational standards. Develop, maintain, and administer tools that deal with Export Compliance, Software License Compliance, Metrics, and Assigned User Groups/Projects. Develop and maintain a roadmap and architecture for DevSecOps for all of SIM organization, coordinating with multiple SIM teams and architects. Position Responsibilities Leads development, documentation and maintenance of standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. Leads automation, development, monitoring, improvement, and troubleshooting across software development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls.
