Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to help provide guidance to program leadership, external partners, and a prime contractor to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of the warfighter and propel strategic national security objectives. This position may be located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA or Remote. As a Senior Enterprise Architect your duties include, but are not limited to: Engages with stakeholders across the Department of War, dictating the alignment of IT programs and initiatives with enterprise-level IT strategy and roadmaps. Translate mission needs and compliance requirements within the team’s scope of responsibility into solutions Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Bachelor's degree and 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in the DoW Demonstrates being a proactive leader with a customer-centric vision and an unwavering commitment to enabling the mission through groundbr eaking technical solutions. Contributes to the product and platform vision, as well as defining the strategy within the broader scope of long-term organizational needs Full-stack development using an object-oriented language with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and React Design and implementation of APIs Performance optimization and scalability principles within an enterprise-class software system implementing DevOps practices, including CI/CD SQL and NoSQL databases, with the ability to design performant and reliable data persistence solutions Automation frameworks and tools for managing complex workflows Demonstrated success in leading agile software teams Must have excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Level Clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree and 12 years of relevant experience or PhD in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed Comprehensive knowledge of industry-standard automated systems, networks, networking principles, and network security. Experience with DoW or Air Force acquisition programs Deep knowledge of mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, & ops of DAF organizations to provide operational and strategic staff guidance. Expert knowledge of policies, programs, procedures, methods, TTPs, and capabilities to support the development, implementation, and sustainment of information architecture and strategy. Ability to complete policy development, interpretation, and resolution of critical IT issues, best practices, and advancements in the areas of information exchange, DoW acquisition, and other related IT areas of operation. • Technical ownership of Thrive Enterprise client projects related (but not limited to) the following: Microsoft 365 Platform, Thrive Security Service Offerings, Cloud Infrastructure Platforms (VMWare, Azure, AWS), Network Infrastructure, Windows Server Technology, Line-of-business Applications • Ability to assess and implement technologies across diverse computing environments for Thrive enterprise clients • Analyze an unfamiliar client environment to determine the most secure, efficient and successful path to complete documented project goals • Work through the project process to reach a successful outcome by: Coordinating and prioritizing engineers from multiple distributed teams, Successfully translating customer business needs into technical realities, Performing hands-on engineering as necessary, Pivot technical approach to meet shifting priorities set by Thrive enterprise clients, Clearly and professionally communicate project plans, potential impacts and testing procedures to Thrive enterprise clients at both a technical and an executive level. • Track and manage time effectively to accomplish multiple ongoing projects.
