Lead Financial Analyst
OutSystems
• Build and maintain sophisticated models to track sales capacity. • Analyze headcount and productivity trends to ensure coverage meets revenue targets. • Support the upcoming implementation of Pigment for the FP&A team. • Help migrate our legacy sales models and headcount tracking into Pigment to drive better automation and scale. • Act as the "source of truth" for all Sales headcount. • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of sales hiring, ensuring all roles align with the budget and strategic priorities. • Partner closely with Sales Ops and HR to monitor attrition, hiring velocity, and "Time to Productivity." • Provide Sales Leadership with data-driven insights if hiring lags pose a risk to the 2026 plan. • Own the Sales OpEx budget. • Lead the quarterly forecasting process for sales compensation, travel, and programs, ensuring accurate commission and expense projections.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years experience in FP&A or Sales Operations, specifically within a SaaS or high-growth Tech environment
- Proficient in ERP Systems and Business Intelligence Tools
- Expert Google Sheets skills (complex modeling, data manipulation, and visualization)
- Proficiency in Workday and Salesforce
- Pigment experience is a plus
- Proven experience in Capacity Modeling (converting sales targets into hiring requirements) and managing headcount-heavy budgets
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to bridge the gap between "Sales activity" and "Financial reality" by using data to justify or challenge hiring requests

• Own the forecasting and monthly "bridge" for Gross Margin. Analyze variances in field service spend, hardware costs, and performance guarantee (PG) payouts. • Manage the financial logic between subscription and billable revenue. • Assist in developing and refining financial models, including driver-based LRP and 3-statement modeling, with a focus on Shortfall Liability and reserve modeling. • Support scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks, opportunities, and optimize investments. • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g.,R&D, Operations) to assist in surfacing actionable insights. • Help implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure company performance. • Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly business reviews and Board materials, focusing on the story behind our cost of goods sold. • Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management, the Board of Directors, and Board Committees. • Support the administration of FP&A systems, ensuring operational data from Salesforce and Field Service tools flows accurately into our financial dashboards. • Act as a "utility player" to help improve internal processes across Revenue or OpEx as the organization’s needs evolve.
• You will own global budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and reporting across multiple legal entities, regions, and currencies. • You will partner closely with the founder, executive leadership, and operating teams to deliver clear financial and operational insight that informs strategy, capital allocation, and business performance. • You will design and implement standardized FP&A processes, templates, and reporting frameworks that function effectively in a distributed, international environment. • You will ensure consistency, accuracy, and comparability of financial data across regions while accounting for local realities. • You will support monthly and quarterly financial reviews, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and KPI tracking. • You will translate complex, multi-entity financial data into concise insights and recommendations for senior leadership. • As the function scales, you will hire, manage, and mentor the family office FP&A team members and build a disciplined, globally aligned FP&A organization.
