Business Development Executive
Weekday (YC W21)
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in both B2B (corporate offices, real estate developers, architects, interior designers, hospitality clients, retailers) and B2C (direct customers, walk-in clients, online leads) segments. • Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, cold calling, email campaigns, field visits, and digital platforms. • Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and showroom visits to showcase furniture collections and customized solutions. • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable furniture products, layouts, and solutions based on space, design preferences, and budget. • Prepare proposals, quotations, pricing negotiations, and close sales to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets. • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. • Coordinate with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery. • Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer preferences within the furniture market. • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools. • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to expand brand visibility and generate new business leads.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience in Sales and Business Development, preferably in furniture, interior products, home décor, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales cycles, negotiation techniques, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Strong persuasion and closing skills with a target-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of furniture materials, designs, finishes, and customization processes will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.

Role Description The Sr Principal SW Development Engineer is a strategic enterprise role responsible for leading business systems analysis in the Enterprise Systems group within UKG in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
