Product Manager – Plant Nutrition

• Operate and work within our Mission Driven Culture Core Values and Principles • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the plant nutrition portfolio • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape • Define product positioning, target market segments, and unique selling propositions (USPs) • Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, development, testing, and commercialization • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure product efficacy, safety, and compliance • Manage product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market data, and industry trends to inform product development • Engage with key stakeholders, including farmers, agronomists, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to understand their needs and challenges • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, promotional materials, and training programs • Provide product expertise and support to the sales team during customer engagements and events • Monitor product performance against financial targets, including revenue, profitability, and market share • Stay abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for new product development and existing product enhancements
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Agronomy, Plant Science, Nutrient Fertility, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in agronomy or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and innovation
- Strong understanding of crop nutrition, soil health, and sustainable agricultural practices
- Proven track record of successful product development and management
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
