Hydro Services Manager

GE Vernova

• Build strong relationships with hydropower plant maintenance teams to understand assets, maintenance needs, budgets, and outage schedules. • Visit customer plants, participate in meetings, identify needs, and connect them with our solutions. • Deliver timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries, including technico-commercial offers. • Provide hands-on technical support for general services and specific upgrades. • Lead project execution, ensuring EHS compliance, quality, cost, schedule, and drive variation orders in collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and site teams. • Manage project financials, including sales milestones, cash flow, risks, and opportunities. • Maintain accurate data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. • Identify local suppliers and collaborate with the sourcing team to develop them where needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hydro-related technical roles and customer-facing commercial activities, including proposals.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings/systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Candidates must be based in Italy, preferably in Northern Italy.
