Role Description BYLD is seeking a Regional Director to lead revenue growth and strategic market presence across the Southeast region. The Regional Director serves as the senior commercial leader within the region, responsible for: - Originating new project opportunities - Cultivating long-term relationships with framing contractors and general contractors - Advancing projects from early engagement through executed contract In this role, you will represent and promote BYLD by Numbers™ — our integrated software- and hardware-enabled cold-formed steel framing solution that streamlines the complete design-to-build process. You will work closely with decision-makers to position BYLD by Numbers™ early in the project lifecycle and ensure successful adoption. The Regional Director works in coordination with BYLD’s centralized technical sales, estimating, and engineering teams to structure competitive, executable proposals and support successful project delivery. This position is designed for a construction industry professional who combines strong market relationships with sound commercial judgment and a disciplined approach to project development. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, design-assist, engineering coordination, or technical sales within construction, engineering, or building materials. - Strong understanding of structural systems, constructability, and preconstruction workflows, with the capacity to quickly gain fluency in cold-formed steel framing and BYLD’s methodology. Prior CFS experience is beneficial but not mandatory. - Proven success influencing design decisions and supporting preconstruction teams early in the project lifecycle. - Demonstrated ability to win or support large-scale construction projects through technical consultation and design-assist collaboration. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, business, or related field preferred. - Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences. - Established regional industry relationships preferred. - Preferred location is Atlanta; candidates in other major Southeast metros with the ability to travel regionally are encouraged to apply. - Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast region. Requirements - Own and deliver regional revenue and margin targets. - Develop and execute a structured regional growth plan aligned with company strategy. - Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities across targeted sectors including multifamily, hospitality, senior living, student housing, and related multi-unit project types. - Lead projects from initial engagement through contract execution. - Lead deal strategy and closing activities, including complex, high-visibility technical projects dependent on early preconstruction alignment. - Establish and maintain strong working relationships with framing contractors, general contractors, developers, architects, and structural engineers. - Position BYLD’s technology early in the design and preconstruction process to influence project planning and framing strategy. - Engage decision-makers to drive adoption of BYLD’s cold-formed steel solutions. - Represent BYLD in regional industry engagements and professional forums. - Direct the advancement of active opportunities through defined internal processes. - Coordinate closely with centralized estimating, technical sales, and engineering teams. - Maintain disciplined CRM management and accurate revenue forecasting. - Develop long-term partnerships with framing contractors to expand adoption of BYLD by Numbers™. - Ensure smooth onboarding and continuous support for framing contractors, GCs, and design teams. - Drive cross-functional coordination to proactively resolve issues that could affect pricing, design, or field execution.
