Technical SEO Manager

Logical Media Group

• Lead technical SEO audits, strategy development, and optimization initiatives across multiple client websites. • Identify technical issues impacting crawlability, indexing, rankings, and user experience. • Develop actionable SEO roadmaps based on performance data, technical findings, and client goals. • Make final technical SEO decisions regarding implementation priorities, optimization approach, and execution standards. • Maintain ownership of technical SEO standards and best practices across all managed projects. • Oversee execution of technical SEO improvements, including: - Site architecture and internal linking optimization - Including header and metadata optimization - Crawlability and indexation management - Redirect strategy and URL migrations - Page speed and Core Web Vitals optimization - Structured data and schema implementation - Image and media optimization - Canonicalization and duplicate content resolution - Ensure proper setup and validation of analytics, tracking systems, and search integrations. - Validate technical SEO readiness during website onboarding, migrations, and launches using standardized technical review processes. • Plan, prioritize, and delegate technical SEO tasks to junior and mid-level SEO specialists. • Create structured execution plans and task schedules aligned with client priorities and contract hours. • Review completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to SEO best practices. • Mentor team members and provide technical guidance to improve team capabilities. • Maintain accountability for team output quality and technical consistency. • Estimate workload and plan technical SEO initiatives across a large portfolio of client websites. • Allocate resources efficiently while aligning with client contract scopes and timelines. • Identify when projects require additional resources or scope adjustments and escalate appropriately. • Balance ongoing maintenance work with high-impact strategic initiatives. • Maintain accountability for organic growth influenced by technical SEO improvements. • Analyze performance trends to diagnose technical causes impacting rankings, traffic, and conversions. • Recommend and implement technical solutions that support measurable organic performance gains. • Contribute directly to client retention by ensuring technical SEO stability, performance improvements, and successful website launches. • Support long-term SEO success through proactive technical monitoring and optimization. • Ensure websites are technically prepared for modern search environments, including AI-driven search experiences and large language model (LLM) indexing. • Implement structured data strategies that improve machine readability and AI interpretation of content. • Optimize site architecture and technical signals to support AI Overviews and emerging search interfaces. • Develop scalable technical frameworks that improve content accessibility for AI systems and search engines. • Stay current with evolving AI search trends and integrate technical best practices into SEO workflows. • Partner with content, development, and account management teams to execute technical initiatives. • Translate complex technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and clients. • Create and maintain technical SEO SOPs, onboarding checklists, and quality assurance workflows. • Standardize technical review processes across all client websites. • Build scalable systems and repeatable processes for managing technical SEO across large portfolios.
