Bookkeeper

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. • Prepare and post month-end journals. • Assist with month-end financial reporting and supporting schedules. • Process and reconcile inter company transactions and recharges. • Assist in preparing weekly sales, gross margin, and net profit reports. • Support the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns. • Respond to finance-related queries and assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks. • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or higher).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Australian work rights required.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
