Job Description

Customer Account Representative – Urology

Aeroflow Health

• Providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies • Handling a high-volume number of both incoming and outgoing phone calls daily • Updating account information, such as: product needs, insurance, contact information, etc. • Calling doctor’s offices to follow up on necessary paperwork needed • Reviewing paperwork received by a patient’s doctor • Placing resupply orders for current patients that receive incontinence supplies and catheters • Researching insurance payer requirements and understanding reimbursement procedures • Troubleshooting equipment problems and offering product changes • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality • Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule • Other job duties assigned

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • 1 year of call center experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Excellent De-escalation skills
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to multitask – shifting between open applications as you speak with patients
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute with accuracy
  • Knowledge with different types of insurance such as medicare, medicaid, and commercial plans (not required)
  • DME supplies, specifically with incontinence and catheters (not required)
