• Partner-led growth (primary) • Identify, recruit, and activate Shopify and ecommerce development agencies, Klaviyo agencies, and CRO/paid media studios. • Build partner tiers (registered → active → strategic), referral rules, and a simple incentive model. • Run enablement: partner pitch, demo scripts, case studies, pricing playbooks, objection handling. • Co-sell with partners: join calls, run joint audits, craft WhatsApp revenue strategies per brand. • Co-marketing with agencies: webinars, workshops, lead magnets, WhatsApp playbooks. • Direct DTC growth (secondary) • Prospect and engage DTC/ecommerce brands • Run discovery and product demos, propose a rollout plan, and move deals to close • Work with onboarding/support to ensure early value, reviews, case studies, and expansion • Market learning loop • Feed product + GTM insights back to the team: what partners ask for, what Merchants need to know, what wins/loses deals in SA
Job Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in partnerships, agency BD, ecommerce SaaS sales, or digital agency account growth
- Working knowledge of e-commerce + performance marketing basics (Shopify, WooCommerce, Klaviyo, CRO, ROAS, CAC/LTV)
- Experience running discovery calls + demos + proposals (even if not formally "sales")
- Based in Cape Town (or willing to be)

The Director of Global Strategic Partnerships will drive high-level collaborations and partnerships with BioPharma customers Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Sanofi through a strong knowledge of the customer, and the Danaher Life Sciences product portfolio. This position will manage cross-platform commercial penetration for Danaher LS at said accounts globally through revenue growth and incremental opportunity generation. This Director will elevate Danaher LS's position in the account by influencing C-suite and other essential decision makers and will have responsibility of owning the account strategy. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for a key Hyperscaler partner, while also providing secondary support for additional alliances and marketplaces. The role is accountable for translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, launching, and scaling transactable offers, facilitating co-sell initiatives, and establishing operational governance to enable Lumen’s publishing objectives across ten major marketplaces by 2026. The Marketplace Alliance Lead will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, and Marketing. Externally, the role will engage with Hyperscaler partners and marketplace teams to ensure strategic alignment, effective execution, and sustained growth.
