• Devise and develop powerful, original ideas that engage the target audience and address the client’s business problem for primarily a B2B audience but also B2C clients - across multiple platforms. • Lead concept development and visual direction across integrated campaigns, digital, social, film, and print • Use the latest AI techniques to bring ideas to life across integrated campaigns, digital, social, film. • Understand the client’s business and communications challenge, the key proposition, and the creative brief – then translate this into distinctive, effective creative ideas • Shape and maintain the visual tone of voice and creative standards across all brand touchpoints • Present ideas to the Creative Director and wider team for approval and development, and partner closely with copywriters through multiple stages of concepts and execution • Collaborate with strategists, designers, account teams and subject‑matter experts to make complex information feel clear, compelling and visually engaging • Generate, maintain and build enthusiasm for ideas within the agency (and with clients in more client-facing art director roles) as work moves from concept to execution • Push the creative ambition while ensuring work remains on brand, credible and compliant with any relevant regulations
Job Requirements
- A savvy B2B and B2C mindset with at least 6+ years’ proven experience as an Art Director or Senior Art Director in a marketing/advertising agency environment
- A true creative thinker with an ideas-driven mindset and genuine interest in all things design and visual culture
- Awareness and proven understanding of the latest AI tools and show an understanding of the advantages they hold within the creative process
- A strong portfolio showing truly integrated campaigns, experiential genius and outstanding visual ideas for major brands (B2B and/or B2C; experience with complex or technical sectors is a plus)
- Proven experience working within the parameters of corporate branding guidelines while still pushing for fresh, distinctive creative solutions. Able to work efficiently with photographers and directors.
- The confidence to defend bold thinking – and the humility to listen, adapt and take feedback on board
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; motion/design tools a plus)
- The ability to apply creative thinking to real business problems, turning insights and data into powerful visual concepts
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to “sell” ideas in an inspirational, confident and clear way
- Sharp creative instincts, solid craft and a collaborative spirit
- A team-first mindset: you enjoy working collaboratively as part of a creative team (with copywriters, designers, strategists and others), and can operate effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
