Sales Manager, SEA – Heart Recovery

• Lead and develop the Heart Recovery clinical and sales team to drive Impella adoption and establish Heart Recovery as the standard of care across South East Asia. • Support patient outcomes by providing clinical guidance within the cath lab, OR, and ICU, while ensuring adherence to the latest Heart Recovery clinical strategies. • Conduct After Action Reviews and Case Reviews with physicians to ensure continuous learning, quality improvement, and excellence in clinical practice. • Plan and deliver comprehensive training programs for physicians, nurses, and hospital teams to ensure optimal clinical use of Impella across active and new sites. • Build and strengthen peer‑to‑peer networks across the region, enabling best practice sharing and supporting the development of Heart Recovery Centers of Excellence. • Drive account management efforts across key centers, partnering with distributors to implement clinical strategies, monitor activity, and maintain transparent case reporting. • Represent the organization at major cardiology conferences, heart failure symposiums, and regional events in partnership with Marketing and Medical Education teams. • Establish strong relationships with SEA distribution partners through weekly alignment meetings, quarterly strategy reviews, and ongoing training to ensure consistent execution of the commercial playbook.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a healthcare-related discipline is required; MD or PhD strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in healthcare, ideally across medical devices/pharma and hospital environments.
  • At least 5 years of clinical leadership experience, preferably in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, or cardiac critical care.
  • Proven experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and heart failure specialists.
  • Strong communication and public‑speaking abilities with demonstrated success facilitating clinical training and high‑impact meetings.
  • Ability to apply independent judgment in complex clinical and commercial situations, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Highly self‑driven, collaborative, and results‑oriented, with a strong passion for education, training excellence, and improving patient outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South East Asia (>50%), including clinical case support, distributor engagements, and regional events.

Our Account Manager works out of a home office and must be based in the State of California. This position has the potential to earn a total compensation package (salary + variable) between $140,000-$200,000.
