Key Responsibilities: - Edit and create top-notch video content for marketing and promotional initiatives, covering platforms such as social media (TikTok, Instagram), YouTube (for long-form videos and advertisements), and internal corporate events. - Content Management: Remotely access and manage raw content via the Lucid Link platform (a reliable, high-speed internet connection is necessary). - Compliance: Follow the specified "playbook" or creative brief/style guide closely to guarantee that all content aligns with the required style and branding. - Technical Delivery: Provide final video outputs in the specified formats: For social media, typically MP4; for YouTube/Internal Videos, utilize higher quality formats such as ProRes 444 or ProRes 422.
Job Requirements
- Key Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio of previous work.
- Strong expertise in video editing applications (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or comparable tools) is required. Editors are welcome to utilize their preferred software, provided that the final result meets the expected standards.
- Proficiency in Social Media: Comprehensive knowledge of the latest trends and best practices for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
- Value Alignment: The candidate must demonstrate open-mindedness and complete commitment to producing content focused on conservative Christian beliefs and American political issues, thereby ensuring consistency with the company's fundamental values.

This role owns the full editorial operation of the brand — from calendar planning through publication. The Editor will work closely with a broader team of newsletter editors while taking day-to-day responsibility for the execution, quality, and growth of their title. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgment, sharp writing and editing skills, and experience managing freelance contributors to maintain a consistent, high-quality publishing cadence. • You will own the edit from rough cut to final delivery. • Edit videos, making sure to keep pace with the script and production pipeline. • Handle all standard post-production tasks: rough cut, fine cut, color grading, audio mixing, music and sound design, lower thirds, captions, and final export. • Export in the correct format and specs for each platform, including YouTube long-form, YouTube Shorts, and any other channels the content is adapted for. • Animate static visual assets provided by the graphic designer. • Apply motion graphics to support the narrative: animated text overlays, transitions, lower thirds, kinetic typography, and branded graphic elements. • Cut short-form versions of long-form videos or standalone short-form content for YouTube Shorts and similar platforms. • Coordinate with the content team on what to adapt and how, rather than making those decisions unilaterally. • Review scripts and storyboards before production begins. • Own the editorial call on whether a cut is ready.
