• Lead the strategic and operational oversight of all clinical and nonclinical biosample activities across the company’s development pipeline. • Building and managing end-to-end sample lifecycle processes—including collection, logistics, chain of custody, tracking, biobanking, vendor oversight, and data reconciliation. • Develop and execute the company’s global biosample management strategy across all clinical programs. • Establish scalable sample governance frameworks suitable for a small but fast-growing biotech environment. • Serve as the subject-matter expert for biospecimen regulations, GCP/GCLP standards, and evolving global requirements. • Ensure robust chain-of-custody and sample traceability systems. • Design and maintain sample management plans, laboratory manuals, and related documentation. • Partner with Translational Medicine/Research to enable biomarker strategies, assay development, and laboratory readiness. • Work with Clinical Operations to incorporate sample needs into protocol design, site training, and monitoring. • Support Biometrics and Data Management in reconciling sample data with clinical datasets. • Identify, select, and manage CROs, central labs, specialty labs, and biorepositories. • Negotiate scopes of work and oversee budget, performance metrics, and quality compliance. • Implement and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and corrective action plans when needed. • Implement or optimize LIMS/sample-tracking systems appropriate for a small biotech. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance sample, visibility. • Establish and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and forms related to biosample handling. • Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP, GCLP, CLIA, CAP, GDPR, and relevant global biospecimen regulations. • Support regulatory submissions (e.g., IND, CTA, BLA) with sample-related documentation. • Prepare for and support audits and inspections related to biospecimen management. • Build and lead a high-performing biosample management team as the company grows. • Provide coaching, resource planning, and professional development for direct reports.

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control. • Ensure accurate receipt, secure storage, and timely dispatch of materials to internal customers and field locations. • Maintain inventory accuracy in accordance with SOPs and cycle count guidelines. • Oversee customer premise equipment recovery, testing, repair, and redeployment. • Manage RMA processes including shipping, tracking, reconciliation, and inventory verification. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; champion warehouse optimization and safety standards. • Schedule warehouse staff appropriately to meet operational demand. • Set performance expectations and ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements. • Train, onboard, and cross-train warehouse employees. • Deliver performance feedback, coaching, and formal performance reviews. • Support fleet operations including asset tracking, coordination, and compliance oversight. • Open, track, and manage facilities-related projects, ensuring milestones and forecasted dates are met. • Review daily reporting to confirm accuracy and project progression. • Identify risks and partner with Facilities and Project Managers to mitigate impacts to timelines or budgets. • Create and deliver operational, inventory, and project reports as required.

• Develop and optimize manufacturing plant layouts to support efficient material flow, safety, scalability, automation and long term operational strategy. • Design, analyze, and refine production workflows to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance process reliability. • Plan and execute the movement of production lines, ensuring seamless transitions, minimal disruption, and alignment with business objectives. • Support consolidation initiatives by evaluating capacity, capability, and cost considerations to recommend optimal configurations across facilities. • Integrate operations from newly acquired companies, harmonizing processes, standards, and performance expectations across the network. • Document processes, layouts, and workflows to support audits and certification activities. • Conduct value stream mapping activities to identify improvement opportunities and guide cross-functional teams toward measurable outcomes. • Promote lean manufacturing principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline across the organization.
