Indirect Procurement Intern – IT Procurement, Parcel Transportation Support

• Gather, analyze, and report on key procurement data, such as team metrics, spend analysis and cost savings opportunities, using tools like Microsoft Excel, Google sheet, Smartsheet. • Provide assistance with software license tracking and inventory to ensure compliance with licensing agreements. • Participate in projects aimed at optimizing purchasing processes and increasing efficiency within the department. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all procurement records and documentation, and maintain organized files for audit compliance.

Qualifications - 4 - 7 years of strategic sourcing experience within complex design and software development and manufacturing environments (consumer products, automotive, etc.). - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, IT, or similar area of study. MBA, JD and CPSM, CPIM or C.P.M. certifications highly desirable. - Experience in working with a broad cross-functional team in an extremely dynamic environment. - Experience working in a global environment with domestic & international suppliers. - Can do attitude, can roll up the sleeves and dive into the details quickly. - Data-driven approach to tracking, monitoring and reporting on defined spend management objectives to ensure we are executing on defined goals. - Analytical skills: spend analysis, cost modeling, and data interpretation. - Communication & collaboration: verbal, written, and presentation skills for engaging internal stakeholders and suppliers included Executive Leadership.
