• Partner with Account Executives to position Mapbox’s technical value and shape opportunities. • Lead technical discovery to understand customer goals, requirements, and success criteria, and ensure solution designs meet business objectives. • Design and present scalable architectures using Mapbox SDKs, APIs, and platform services. • Build and deliver proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate measurable customer value. • Apply expertise in GIS, spatial data, and location intelligence to solve customer problems. • Advocate for customer needs and provide structured feedback to influence product direction. • Stay current on mapping, mobility, and AI technologies and share best practices internally and with customers. • Support customers in logistics, telecom, weather, and more. • Deliver rapid technical enablement through workshops, demos, and PoC/PoV in a high-volume, fast-moving digital customer environment. • Drive customer success by accelerating time-to-value and supporting adoption and expansion in a dynamic, complex ecosystem.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years in solutions architecture, customer-facing engineering (pre-sales, post-sales), or consulting.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience with GIS, location intelligence, and geospatial data (e.g., spatial databases, vector and raster data, geocoding, routing, map rendering).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, robust architectures aligned with customer objectives.
  • Strong business acumen and comfort working autonomously across distributed teams.
  • Experience responding to RFQs/RFIs with clear technical documentation and solution proposals.
  • Experience supporting high volumes of digital customers and context-switching efficiently across stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in web and mobile technologies (Required: JavaScript; Highly desirable: Swift, Kotlin, Python; Desirable: React Native, Flutter).
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP; certification is a plus).
  • Experience with back-end APIs and front-end SDKs in geospatial and mobility domains.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and executive audiences, combined with a proven ability to influence executive, product, engineering, and developer stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, workshops, and industry events.

About the role: We’re looking for a Clinical Solutions Specialist to join our team. What will you do at Presence: The Clinical Solutions Specialist role is responsible for supporting the Sales team in closing and growing complex deals in the special education related services marketplace. This role embodies our key values and infuses clinical expertise in the organization through provision of: - Market Differentiation: Leading with deep clinical expertise, customer and market understanding, to enhance the Sales process, collaborate with internal teams and support Revenue growth goals by strengthening the foundation behind our key value propositions at Presence. - Complex Solutioning: Serves sustainable solutions directly to our internal and external partners and enables the Revenue team to close efficiently and effectively. Serves as the internal and external point of consultation for clinical validation and logistical/technical clinical questions. - Credibility & Confidence: Establishing trust through in-depth subject matter expertise, strategic thinking, and clear understanding of the special education related service landscape. - Representation: Clinical ambassadors for the Presence brand, building and maintaining relationships to enable Revenue growth, provide thought leadership for the Presence brand and our partners, while nurturing critical state and national associations and associated executive relationships. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Support - Support the Revenue team in embodying the value propositions and clinical models that reflect Presence’s standards, align with school partner needs, and support operational capacity. - Deliver dynamic sales related Demos and customer-facing presentations in individual, departmental, and conference level interactions that showcase clinical excellence, our dynamic platform, and the Presence Way. - Offer clinical consultation and advisement for strategic new business, renewals, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. - Strengthen internal and external stakeholder comprehension and adoption of differentiated service models tailored to diverse customer profiles. - Serve as a clinical expert and participate in training and development of Revenue team members on Presence Way standards and clinical foundational knowledge, working in partnership with Revenue Enablement. - Provide subject matter expertise and feedback on training, coaching, and development strategies for Revenue team effectiveness in customer engagement, escalation management, and cross-functional partnership. - Contribute to tracking and reporting on key business and performance indicators as outlined by leadership, in line with strategic goals and project objectives to contribute to success metrics as a Clinical Solutions Specialist. Clinical Partnership Enablement - Enhance customer adoption and execution of Presence’s SaaS offerings, including the Kanga platform, by integrating clinically validated practices, user feedback, and measurable outcomes into platform strategy and usage models. - Inform assigned projects within our Go-To-Market (GTM) executions by infusing our offerings with elevated clinical insights and perspectives - Offer enduring clinical solutions during new business, discovery , and dialogue with current customers that elevate Presence’s strongest value propositions and differentiators. - Engage in client conversations and solution design for strategically assigned opportunities to model and elevate the clinical/sales engagement approach. - Foster a culture of continuous feedback and engagement that translates customer needs into actionable, sustainable clinical solutions. Operational Alignment & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Align sales proposals with staffing capacity and operational readiness through forecasting tools and service modeling, ensuring that proposals incorporate key clinical considerations to support sustainable, high-quality delivery. - Under the leadership of VP of Clinical Solutions, provide subject matter expertise and advance strategic initiatives and business development efforts across departments. - Ensure availability of critical service information details within CRM tools for fulfillment and use in service delivery execution - Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, and Product teams to ensure assigned projects reflect clinical solutions that are cohesive, clinically sound, and scalable. - Participate in initiatives that strengthen the connection between platform capabilities and clinical service delivery. - Highlight the strongest clinical values reflected by Presence’s mission and strategic vision by advising on clinical best practices when collaborating across internal teams and with external partners. - Support execution of assigned strategic initiatives that enhance communication, internal alignment, strengthen value propositions, and enable the delivery of clinical excellence at scale.
