• Hire and develop technical personnel by conducting periodic one on one sessions and providing regular feedback, always focused on high performance • Ensure that the team is always engaged and challenged to go beyond what is expected • Understands the teams products at a deep level, and support the team members to also have a reasonable knowledge of the products the squad owns • Delegate work and assignment to team members • Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems • Analyzing users needs and then finding applications to serve them • Foster a healthy culture within the team in line with the company culture • Conduct risk analysis to identify areas of improvement • Guide the team through technical issues and challenges • Guarantee their teamwork follows high standards development processes, including PR reviews, code quality, test coverage, robustness, resilience, performance, security and responsiveness • Manage the teams oncall, ensuring the quality of incident handling and offering a great experience for the client • Have an assertive decision making in adverse environments (short time, pressure from customers, various restrictions) • Whenever necessary, direct contact with the international team and clients • Monitoring team services and new features on production environment, always seeking to achieve our SLOs and SLAs
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in English at B2 level or above (Upper-Intermediate)
- Experience with Financial Industry or Payments, Authorization Systems
- At least 3 years acting in direct leadership, with responsibility for team development and career growth.
- 7+ years of experience in software development as a software engineer.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven leadership experience in people and project management.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and production support.
- Experience developing secure, scalable corporate web applications.
- Experience with development of corporate web applications.
- Familiarity with cloud native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI CD, observability, and system architecture.

Role Summary The Director of Finance Software Engineering is a senior technology leader responsible for defining and executing the enterprise finance systems strategy. This role owns the design, delivery, and optimization of large-scale finance platforms—primarily ERP and adjacent digital finance solutions—while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Revenue Operations. The role leads global engineering teams, drives transformation programs, ensures regulatory compliance, and delivers measurable business outcomes through automation, analytics, and platform modernization.
