Event Technology Delivery Manager
Grip
• Full ownership throughout a project’s end-to-end life cycle, for events of any size • Use knowledge and experience to advise on the best configuration of the platform to fit the client’s needs • Pay attention to ‘scope creep’, ensure that projects stick to their SOW. Where required, flag additions to the SOW if critical to success • Manage requests and internal tickets to ensure milestones are met • Consult with customers & other departments on status, proposal or technical issues such as feature design, troubleshooting or maintenance • Responsible for event data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) • Test functionality, review and recommend changes to clients and product where appropriate • Maintain a full understanding of the Grip product to ensure top quality assistance for our clients • Own communication and execution of solution handover to Grip support teams • Supporting and assisting other Delivery Managers on their assigned tasks and/or projects • Develop strategy and structure based on previous project learnings, to help streamline project delivery processes and operations as the business grows • Escalate project risks to the Senior and Project leads and the relevant departments • Accurately track time by project to prevent hour overspend
Job Requirements
- 4+ Years of experience in the events industry, as a Project Manager, Coordinator or Producer
- Proven experience being part of the core project management team on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with CRM systems and digital platforms
- Experience with data management and technical systems
- Technical troubleshooting and problem solving expertise
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive and action-driven mindset
- Can demonstrate assertiveness and knows when to say ‘no’
- Technical knowledge of data systems and API integrations is a bonus

This is a remote position with domestic and international travel required. JOB DESCRIPTION The focus of this position is safeguarding the principals from safety and security hazards, both domestically and internationally, with an emphasis on event security within their corporate environment. The job requires high personal integrity and honesty, confidentiality, sound judgment, problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the ability to follow instructions. The individual will provide professional event security planning and protection to Executives in a corporate office setting, as well as scheduled events/functions. This includes conducting risk assessments, working with vendors to support security and intelligence functions, and recommending to the client on threat management and safety. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing event security protocols for the firm and its principal(s) as required. RESPONSIBILITIES - Provides specialist-level direct or remote coordination of security and safety services to global events. - Prepares comprehensive event security plans in support of global events, including security risk assessments, communications plans, protection operations, medical response, and emergency evacuation plans. - Provides on-the-ground security support to global events, which includes support of Executive Protection, threat identification, incident management, and emergency response. - Conducts security advances, site visits, and security surveys to identify the suitability of venues, identify risks and vulnerabilities, and provide security recommendations based on findings. - Maintains and develops relationships with vendors and partners, and assists with managing vendor and event security costs and budgets. - Provides a working knowledge of the market, including leveraging knowledge of regional policies, procedures, and laws, and contacts within law enforcement and emergency agencies. - Maintains liaison with internal stakeholders/partners to achieve objectives and leverages both internal and external resources for program efficiency while providing exceptional customer service. - Provides comprehensive After-Action Reviews post-event. - Assists in the development and implementation of SOPs - Supports the Director of Protective Services to effectively drive the implementation of all event security programs within the scope of the team. - Completes daily requests from management and other duties as assigned.
