Sourcing Coordinator
Xometry Europe
• Secure and analyze supplier quotations; negotiate optimal pricing and terms. • Recommend suppliers based on competitiveness in cost, quality, and delivery performance. • Maintain up-to-date records of partner offers, including price and lead time. • Actively monitor the job board to track offer statuses, acceptance rates, and partner feedback. • Update the job offer tracking report regularly and accurately. • Manage negotiations with partners regarding pricing, timelines, and special conditions. • Monitor partner DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback and facilitate discussions as needed. • Communicate relevant DFM findings to the project engineer to support decision-making. • Coordinate daily order decisions with Operations and Sales Management. • Collaborate with post-processing shops, vendors, and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery. • Provide timely sourcing updates to internal teams. • Escalate sourcing issues when necessary to maintain project continuity. • Ensure all work complies with Xometry’s quality, safety, and operational procedures.
Job Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin (native or near-native level).
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- 2+ years of experience in client-facing and vendor-facing roles, preferably within manufacturing.
- Understanding of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments at once.
- Availability to work evening hours in CST (China Standard Time) is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience or strong interest in CNC processes, molding, or general manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of machined parts is a plus.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and web-based software tools.
