Senior Business Development Manager, DACH

Origin

• Spearhead the end-to-end pursuit of high-value "Greenfield" enterprise accounts, moving beyond digital outreach to secure and lead face-to-face boardroom presentations. • Act as a strategic advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and SAM and Procurement Directors, articulating the financial and operational ROI of software independence. • Develop and own a 12-month "Attack Plan" for the DACH territory, identifying high-potential verticals and displacement opportunities for IBM, HCL, VMware and others. • Represent Origina as a thought leader at premier industry conferences and field events, leveraging your personal network to build a high-integrity enterprise pipeline. • Partner with the Channel team to identify and activate high-tier strategic partners capable of co-selling into massive enterprise environments. • Monitor competitor tactics and OEM roadmap changes to proactively position Origina as the primary risk-mitigation partner.

Job Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of senior business development or enterprise sales experience, specifically within IT services, SaaS, or software maintenance.
  • A "storyteller" with the presence and confidence to command a room of senior stakeholders and handle high-pressure negotiations.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully displacing "Mega-Vendors" (IBM, Oracle, SAP) by selling complex, non-traditional solutions.
  • Ability to build and present sophisticated business cases focused on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), CAPEX/OPEX shifts, and long-term ROI.
  • A proactive self-starter with a full driving license and a willingness for frequent regional travel (approx. 40-50%) to meet prospects face-to-face.
  • Experience working across diverse markets with the ability to adapt communication styles to different cultural and business norms.
