Environmental Project Manager

• Manage multiple Phase I ESA projects simultaneously, ensuring quality control throughout each project's life cycle. • Coordinate the efforts of team members and field staff (as needed) to deliver projects according to plan. • Cultivate strong relationships with team members to ensure successful and timely project delivery. • Mentor staff and adapt to various technical disciplines as needed. • Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) reviews of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. • Engage with subcontractors and field staff (as needed) and alert the Team Lead if there is an AOC and/or REC that has not been previously relayed to the client. • Clearly communicate project expectations to team members and staff. • Provide recommendations and solutions to relationship managers/team lead/sales lead, considering the impact on the transaction process. • Identify and resolve project issues, deliver progress reports, and manage client follow-up and concerns. • Coordinate responses to client requests for scope changes. • Facilitate the delivery of final reports.

Job Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, due diligence, or risk management-related services.
  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or a similar technical discipline from an accredited university.
  • Extensive knowledge of ASTM-1527 and the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment process, as well as Phase II/Site Investigation processes.
  • Specific experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac report formats.
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and deliver quality results on time.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.
  • Understanding of environmental consulting concepts related to risk management and due diligence.

We’re looking for an Enterprise Project Manager to join Procore’s Professional Services team. In this role, you’ll act as the primary delivery lead for our most complex, large-scale client engagements, orchestrating internal and external resources to ensure that professional services are delivered with precision, within budget, on time, and aligned with the client’s strategic business objectives. As a Enterprise Project Manager, you’ll partner with PS Consultants, Technical Delivery, Sales, and Product teams to execute against custom Statements of Work and drive platform adoption. What You’ll Do: - Lead the full project lifecycle for complex professional services engagements, from project kickoff and discovery through to final delivery and transition. - Facilitate design workshops and develop comprehensive project documentation, including detailed Gantt schedules, resource allocation models, and Change Management strategies. - Partner with PS Consultants, Technical Delivery, Sales, and Product teams to execute against custom Statements of Work (SOWs). - Act as the "delivery expert" during the pre-sales phase, assisting Sales and Customer Success in scoping engagements, validating timelines, and ensuring a seamless handoff to delivery. - Rigorously manage project margins, billable utilization, and scope. Proactively identify and manage "scope creep" through formal change control processes. - Serve as the primary point of escalation and reporting; provide internal and external stakeholders with transparent updates on milestones, budget burn, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs. What We’re Looking For: - 8+ years of experience leading large-scale, billable services delivery within a SaaS or consulting environment - Proven track record of managing projects with budgets exceeding $100k+, with a focus on high-stakes enterprise implementations. - Advanced skills in managing Gantt-based schedules, resource forecasting, and RAID log maintenance. Experience with web/mobile documentation management or construction-tech platforms is highly preferred. - Deep understanding of Organizational Change Management (OCM) and the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders through data-driven insights. - Experience within the Construction, Engineering, or Financial SaaS industries is a significant plus. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business value. - PMP and/or CAPM certification is strongly preferred. - Ability to travel up to 30–40% for client on-sites and internal strategy sessions.
