Programmatic Cloud Engineer
RTB House
• Contribute to shaping a scalable and well-structured DevOps environment across our GCP projects • Enhance monitoring and observability practices, strengthen GitHub-based CI/CD workflows • Expand the adoption of infrastructure-as-code with Terraform • Develop self-service tooling (e.g., CLI utilities) that enables engineers and data specialists to experiment and deploy safely in staging environments • Work closely with software engineers and data specialists, promoting consistent standards and supporting them in leveraging cloud services effectively • Collaborate with the company’s core Cloud Engineering teams to ensure alignment with broader policies, security requirements, and governance standards
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
- Solid hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major Cloud providers, including IAM, networking, resource management, and service configuration
- Good working knowledge of CI/CD systems (preferably GitHub Actions), with the ability to configure or assist in configuring pipelines, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining smooth deployment workflows.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and practical experience with Terraform, sufficient to introduce Terraform configurations in day-to-day cloud operations.
- Experience designing monitoring & alerting systems
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python) for automating routine tasks and improving operational efficiency
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical internal users
- Ownership mindset and ability to operate in partially defined environments
