FinOps Solution Architect
Flexera
• Act as a subject matter expert for Flexera’s FinOps solutions • Partner with sales representatives, solution engineers, success managers, advisors, and other team members to enable success throughout the customer journey • Assist solutions engineers when needed as the subject matter expert in discovery calls to uncover customer needs and objectives • Assist in technical validation initiatives to support the solutions engineers when needed, as the subject matter expert • Engage with the product development process on an ongoing basis to provide valuable field insights to product management and engineering teams • Develop best practices for technical validation processes with the enablement team to ensure Solutions Engineers are best positioned to succeed • Develop custom automation code to meet customer needs • Occasional on-site travel to engage directly with customers and support sales, customer success, and renewal efforts
Job Requirements
- Strong experience in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps)
- Deep understanding of cloud vendor billing and discount mechanisms
- Experience with configuration and cost optimizing of Data Clouds (e.g. DataBricks and Snowflake)
- Experience with configuration and cost optimizing of Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, API tools (e.g., Postman)
- Familiarity with cloud vendor native tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer) and third-party solutions (e.g., Cloudability, CloudHealth)
- Certification as a Cloud Solution Architect or equivalent; Azure/Google certification is a plus
- Customer-centric mindset with a strong dedication to achieving customer success
