Contract Recruiter
Route
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing and screening through to offer extension. • Proactively identify and engage top talent through job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events. • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and craft effective recruitment strategies. • Maintain clear communication and timely feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience that reflects Route's values and culture. • Conduct phone screens, assess candidates for skills and cultural fit, and coordinate interviews with the appropriate team members. • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings using active and passive sourcing techniques. • Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire to support continuous process improvement. • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and company policies, maintaining accurate records throughout.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Proven track record filling both technical and non-technical roles.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other sourcing platforms.
- Experience with ATS platforms, specifically Greenhouse, Goodtime, and VicTig.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships quickly with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal ramp-up time.
