Agronomy Operations Lead
Tidal Vision
• Ensure developed protocols are executed according to strategic trial planning including geography, product, and crop targets. • Work within budget planning to ensure trial costs stay within allocated budget ranges. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery to trial sites. • Manage trial workflow in shared digital platform and provide regular status updates to Commercial Ag Science Team. • Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner. • Conduct regular communication with Third Party Researcher services providers to ensure proper data collection and in-season data return and feedback. • Make in-person trial site visits to compliment Agronomy Solution Managers travel where necessary. • As trials conclude, regularly communicate with Third Party Researchers to ensure timely finalized data return. • Conduct QA/QC and consolidation as data is made available. • Manage common data warehousing and hand-off workflows. • Ensure all final invoices are processed.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field (MS preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in agronomic trialing, research, and data collection and management.
- Proven ability to engage with third party research organizations to successfully manage end-to-end trial implementation.
- Understanding of North American cropping systems, agronomic trialing best practices, quality control for data collection, and digital data management practices.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, project management, and digital tool skill sets.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to trial locations across North America.
