• Lead the team responsible for building the tools and systems to scale regulatory launches worldwide with a focus on operational tooling and API integrations. • Work closely with global stakeholders for alignment and shape strategies and technical directions. • Start your day with a daily-standup to get an accurate view of your team’s output, strengthen team communication, and support managers, Tech Leads & engineers to do their tasks without any friction. • Represent Cities team in various leadership meetings and similar forums. • Find ways to improve collaboration and communication for a strong team culture. • Build a culture of Craftsmanship, where we take pride in our work and ship with confidence. • If required, travel internationally to foster collaboration and accelerate projects. • Strategize and brainstorm opportunities along with Product, Partnerships & other cross-functional leaders and drive effective relevant metrics to measure the success of these initiatives. • Responsible for recruiting the right engineers by improving and adding new initiatives for the overall India site culture.

Job Requirements

  • BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+​ years of relevant engineering work experience and 4+ hands-on technical management experience.
  • Strong coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications.
  • Experience architecting, building, and maintaining highly available services in a large service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Familiarity with patterns, libraries and frameworks for building and testing services, and service-to-service communication.
  • Experience in partnering with other leaders in setting product strategy.
  • Successfully partnered with Operations, Policy, Legal, and Product functions.
  • Track record in partnering with recruiting to build incredible engineering teams.
  • Actively coached and mentored team members in their careers.
  • Consistently made culture choices that positively impact all of engineering.
