Snowflake
• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers • Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing • Be an advocate and develop mutual trust with the technical audience on the customer side • Run training sessions, workshops, webinars to help customers become proficient in Snowflake • Keeping customers up to date on key Snowflake product updates and future roadmaps to help them represent Snowflake to their clients about latest technology solutions and benefits • Run technical enablement programs to provide best practices, and solution design workshops to help customers create effective solutions • Create and develop technical champions in your accounts to drive Snowflake adoption • Represent Snowflake at customer or industry events • Forward Strategic thinking - quickly grasp the essence of new concepts and business value messaging. Sharing customer success stories & case studies to showcase the impact of Snowflake
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience working in customer facing solution engineering (tech sales) role, preferably with large Global accounts
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science and data apps
- Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, in small groups or at public events, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python
- Experience working with large global accounts, GSIs and/or Global Capability Centers
- Industry experience in either BFSI, Manufacturing, Technology or HCLS domains
- Experience with large-scale database technology (e.g. Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, Hadoop etc.)
- Presales experience in data related tech products
- Sound understanding and experience in the enterprise market and technology ecosystem
- Prior industry domain experience with a focus on healthcare or life sciences is highly desirable.
