Job Requirements
- As RSB’s Legal Manager, you will work closely with RSB’s Legal & Operations Associate Director, supporting legal matters and compliance activities, enabling RSB’s continued growth and success as an international team and organisation. The position’s responsibilities include:
- Lead the preparation, review, negotiation, and lifecycle management of legal agreements, including (but not limited to) advisory services proposals, MOUs, NDAs, partnership and sponsorship agreements, consultancy contracts, and employment-related documentation.
- Oversee the management of legal documentation, ensuring robust document control, versioning, and well‑organised filing systems that support operational efficiency.
- Conduct and coordinate legal research, analysing legal challenges, risks, and implications across RSB’s activities, and providing clear, pragmatic legal support to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including those related to organisational structure, data protection and privacy, human resources, and other operational areas, monitoring changes and advising on their impact.
- Design, improve, and implement legal and compliance processes, contributing to scalable systems, templates, and workflows that support RSB’s evolving operations and partnerships.
- Support governance administration, including coordination and legal review of governance bodies' documentation, resolutions, and records, and maintaining accurate statutory and corporate files.
- RSB seeks an individual based in Spain, the United Kingdom, or Germany, equipped with relevant experience and a strong commitment to sustainability.
- Required - ****Education, Experience, and Qualifications*
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, preferably with in-house legal functions within international or non-governmental organisations of relevant professional experience.
- Degree in Law.
- Knowledge of legal principles and procedures, experience in legal research.
- Proficient spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence and ability to communicate effectively with companies, law firms, governmental institutions, non-profit agencies, academia, and other experts on a global scale, including at conference and events.
- Experience working remotely (home-office based).
- Strong ethics and confidentiality.
