• Provide expert legal counsel on product development involving stablecoins, payments, blockchain technology, and digital asset services • Advise on complex financial services regulations, BSA/AML/CFT compliance, sanctions, intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity • Support domestic and international licensing, regulatory strategy, and engage with global regulators • Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements • Support corporate governance and venture financing • Translate evolving regulatory requirements into actionable business guidance • Lead multiple high-stakes legal projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment • Collaborate cross-functionally and manage outside counsel
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the People Team on all aspects of employment law • Provide proactive counsel on employment law compliance • Support internal investigations, policy development, and employment documentation • Provide broad legal support across the business, including regulatory investigations and litigation support • Translate complex legal requirements into practical guidance for business stakeholders
• Oversee the legal frameworks for Care.com’s consumer marketplace and compliance program • Lead the transformation of the legal function leveraging legal technology and AI • Guide product teams on compliance throughout the development lifecycle • Design self-service compliance tools for marketing • Maintain robust, accessible Terms of Service and Privacy Policies • Partner closely with Trust & Safety to refine protocols for incident response and platform integrity • Integrate “Privacy by Design” into all consumer features.
