• Review contracts , purchase orders and billing details, enter accurate information into the MIS • Prepare and submit invoices via multiple portals • Monitor collection account files, contract documentation, and account close-outs. • Coordinate with Project Accountant Team Lead, Digital Innovation CSM/FSR team, ARM and Risk Management teams • Support quality assurance, continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • BCom Accounting degree or related with 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience with Billing and invoicing
  • Proficiency in accounting system, MIS, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Dynamics 365, Salesforce
  • Experience with bulk invoicing preferred
  • Strong analytical, time management, communication and attention to details skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, occasional travel may be required.

Job Description: Description The Billing Analyst analyzes large amounts of data, identifies root causes, and provides value added recommendations to management. He/she will be a pricing, rating, and special billing process workflow subject matter expert which includes training, testing IT enhancements and communicating system issues and changes. He/she will be expected to present to clients and all levels of management. Summary The Billing Analyst's main responsibility will be to support all aspects of the Ryder Last Mile billing functions with a focus on pricing, dedicated billing, and special processes. The Analyst will be involved heavily in report generation and IT testing in an effort to improve and enhance billing processes. Essential Functions - Analyzes customers' billing processes to discuss key aspects of financials in order to recommend key aspects of financial improvements, including reducing costs and maximizing profitability. - Researches and resolves billing discrepancies and recommends process improvements. - Generates KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and other statistical data for customers. - Analyzes the various revenue buckets that are billed to customers on a weekly basis, including revenue and commodity code analysis. Confirms all contractual rates and quantities are accurate in invoicing system - Conducts research and compiles data in order to prepare customized reports. - Ad Hoc requests and special projects as necessary. - Conducts audits of route details which directly correlate to the customers' invoice. - Entry of revenue and expense rating into billing and rating system Additional Responsibilities - Performs other duties as assigned. This position receives infrequent supervision and instruction from the Manager of Billing Services. Responsibilities - Processes, edits, audits and posts service entries into the EHR. - Generates clean claims, invoices and patient bills for services provided to all patients based on third party payer criteria. - Monitors and collects outstanding accounts receivable and performs investigation and follow-up on open balances. - Reviews Explanation of Benefits/Remittance Advices for correct payment, copays, deductibles and denials. - Tracks, analyzes, and reports monthly to director regarding composition of outstanding accounts receivable, determining collectability and internal and external issues concerning receipt of payment. - Participates in the monthly closings and provides data and analysis for all payers. - Communicates with the utilization review department regarding authorizations issues and inquires. - Completes necessary processes for adjustments, write-offs, charity care and refunds. - Contacts Patient Benefit Coordinators, outpatient administrative support staff, therapists, and insurance companies for problem resolution with funding sources or patient services. - Maintains interdepartmental reports for patient accounts and collections. - Communicate with third party Collection Management Company and patients concerning self-pay balances or billing issues. - Assists in the FY audits. - Communicates with the Medical Records department for applicable data required for patient appeals and denials. - Works on special projects as needed. - Attends mandatory Gateway training and in-services.
