• Define and lead the logistics roadmap across APAC - supporting product launches, city expansion, and fleet lifecycle management. • Establish Distribution Operations within the APAC region. • Manage logistics for all supply from our Asia supply base to all regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC). • Manage APAC outbound logistics for vehicles, components, batteries, and charging infrastructure across air, ocean, road, and rail. • Oversee global logistics providers, 3PL warehouses, and last-mile delivery partners; negotiate contracts and implement robust SLAs. • Ensure logistics operations enable smooth fleet rollouts and support compliance needs across diverse city regulatory environments. • Own regional logistics budgets and freight spend across APAC, ensuring cost visibility, financial discipline, and accurate freight billing across logistics providers. Oversee invoice validation and audit processes while identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational transparency. • Build visibility into logistics flows using TMS and analytics tools; track KPIs (e.g., lead time, delivery reliability, cost per km/unit) and drive continuous improvement. • Build and mentor the globally distributed APAC logistics team with capabilities across freight, compliance, and distribution, fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and speed.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in global logistics or supply chain, with 5+ years leadership experience.
  • Proven success managing logistics operations in a fast-paced, global hardware or mobility environment (e.g., transportation tech, consumer electronics, e-commerce, or automotive).
  • Deep expertise in international logistics, distribution, 3PL management, and regulatory compliance—including lithium battery shipping and reverse logistics.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in building or scaling logistics networks in emerging or regulated markets.
  • Strong financial and data acumen—comfortable building and presenting business cases and managing multi-million-dollar logistics budgets.
  • Proficiency with supply chain systems (ERP, TMS, WMS) and logistics analytics. NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA or certifications (e.g., CLTD, CSCP) a plus.

The region features a mix of maritime, manufacturing, and natural resource‑based economies, all within a setting known for its forests, scenic waterways, and strong community connections. Farther south, Tillamook and Lincoln counties highlight the heart of Oregon’s central coast, known for rugged shorelines, fishing and tourism industries, and expansive dairy and agricultural lands. These communities combine natural beauty with a relaxed, small‑town feel, offering unique opportunities to support residents across diverse and dynamic coastal environments. The goal is to fill both positions at the Deputy State Fire Marshal level.
