• Own foundational platform improvements — Spec and ship changes to core workflows that other features build on: how users configure what gets tested, how the platform enforces boundaries, how results get surfaced. • Fix the defaults — Identify places where the product lets users silently misconfigure things, and build the validation and guardrails that prevent it. • Rethink core abstractions — Some of our primitives were designed for an earlier version of the product. You'll lead the work to evolve them -- which means understanding the downstream impact on multiple system layers. • Make data accessible — Users shouldn't have to drill through multiple screens to answer basic questions about their results. Fix that. • Navigate cross-team changes — Foundational work touches many teams. You need to understand blast radius, negotiate tradeoffs, and bring people along without having authority over them. • Write specs engineers respect — Your PRDs should demonstrate you understand the technical constraints, not just the desired outcome
Product Manager, Crypto Brokerage
PaxosPaxos is a regulated blockchain infrastructure company building transparent and transformative financial solutions.
• Own key areas of the Crypto Brokerage platform, combining domain depth in trading and execution with broad product responsibilities across discovery, roadmap, and delivery. • Drive general product work such as problem discovery, customer research, hypothesis definition, and prioritization, not just trading‑engine features. • Design and refine order and execution flows (price discovery, order types, routing logic, slippage controls, risk limits) to deliver high‑quality execution for partner order flow, in close partnership with senior PMs and Engineering. • Contribute to smart order routing and liquidity‑aggregation capabilities across execution venues and liquidity sources, helping balance execution quality, latency, fees, and risk. • Translate the needs of exchanges, brokerages, fintechs, and other partners into clear API contracts, workflows, and configuration surfaces for your area of ownership. • Partner closely with Engineering to design and deliver low‑latency, high‑reliability trading systems, including matching, routing, and risk engines; participate in technical design discussions and trade‑off decisions for your initiatives. • Work with Market Operations, Risk, and Compliance to implement guardrails (credit limits, position limits, exposure controls, kill‑switches) and ensure products meet regulatory and operational requirements in relevant jurisdictions. • Define and monitor key performance and quality metrics for your product area (e.g., execution quality vs. benchmarks, fill rates, rejection rates, latency, system availability) and use data to drive continuous improvement. • Conduct ongoing market and competitive research on crypto market structure, centralized exchanges, prime‑brokerage offerings, liquidity providers, and adjacent brokerage experiences to inform a holistic product roadmap, not just execution‑layer capabilities. • Collaborate with Business Development and Sales on high‑value partner opportunities, contributing to technical solutions and helping articulate Paxos’ execution and liquidity value proposition. • Develop and deepen subject‑matter expertise on crypto trading and execution, educating cross‑functional teammates on venues, order types, liquidity models, and market‑microstructure considerations for your products. • Collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Go‑to‑Market teams to shape end‑to‑end partner and end‑user experiences, bringing a generalist product mindset informed by your trading background.
