Funding & Research Partnerships Manager – Quantum Tech
NVision Imaging Technologies
• Identify and prioritize relevant national and international funding opportunities aligned with NVision’s quantum research activities • Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of competitive grant applications, combining scientific content with impact-focused narratives in line with funding requirements • Work closely with interdisciplinary researchers to translate advanced theoretical and experimental concepts into clear, structured proposals • Develop proposal narratives beyond core research descriptions, including objectives, work plans, implementation concepts, as well as, impact framing • Coordinate inputs, timelines, and formal requirements across external collaborators, funding bodies, and internal stakeholders, including legal, commercial, and management teams • Support post-grant implementation and reporting, including coordination of stakeholder inputs and tracking of grant milestones and deliverables
Job Requirements
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Quantum Physics, Physics, or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of quantum technologies and advanced physics concepts
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently drive a full grant submission cycle from sourcing to successful grant implementation
- Demonstrated experience in scientific writing, including grant proposals and/or peer-reviewed publications
- Ability to critically assess and clearly communicate complex scientific content
- Experience working with researchers in collaborative, research-driven environments
- Excellent written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is strongly preferred
