Power BI Developer
Kaizen Analytix
• Design, enhance, and support interactive BI reports, dashboards, and analytical models using Power BI • Create and maintain semantic models, calculations, and metrics using DAX and Power Query • Develop, tune, and maintain SQL-based data transformations to support reporting and analytics • Consolidate and harmonize data from enterprise systems such as ERP platforms, data lakes, and other structured sources • Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to convert reporting needs into scalable BI solutions • Reduce manual reporting effort by automating data preparation, refreshes, and delivery processes • Analyze and resolve data, performance, and usability issues across reports and datasets • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal governance and control standards • Produce and maintain technical documentation and end-user guidance for BI assets • Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with operational requirements • Provide on-call or after-hours support during limited, business-critical periods when required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable technical discipline
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data development roles
- Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, Power Query, and dashboard visualization best practices
- Strong SQL skills with experience in querying, transforming, and optimizing large datasets
- Prior experience working with financial or enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance functions, reporting cycles, and financial data structures
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting and analytics solutions
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and reporting issues
- Experience handling large, relational datasets in a performance-sensitive environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and business users
- Ability to manage priorities independently and deliver results in a fast-moving environment

• Deliver actionable business intelligence and strategic insights that drive revenue and margin growth across Launch Potato’s digital properties. • Clean, standardize, and document stakeholder-facing dashboards in Looker with aligned definitions and metrics within the first 60 days. • Identify and resolve at least five inconsistencies or discrepancies in reporting logic within the first 90 days. • Partner with FP&A and product teams to ensure 100% alignment between financial and operational data by the end of the second quarter. • Deliver ad hoc strategic analyses with clear financial or strategic recommendations, averaging one per month. • Lead and document improvements to at least two core Looker Explores or dashboard structures to enable scalable self-service by end of H1.
• Responsible for the design/development of Power BI Dashboards • Work with business client to determine reporting requirements • Ensure business rules are accurately captured • Create unit test conditions, scripts, and data for Power BI • Build and test Power BI reports with Databricks based data according to design and IT performance standards • Resolve report issues identified by the test team during integration test and by the client during customer acceptance test • Transition code to maintenance team after production release • Update and maintain report documents (eg: report designs) • Communicate status of tasks to project lead/manager • Alert project lead/manager of potential issues and risks
