Outsourcey
• Monitor support channels (email, Salesforce, internal systems) for incoming issues • Respond to and resolve IT support requests in a timely manner • Troubleshoot issues remotely (POS systems, user access, basic network issues) • Escalate complex issues to senior IT or external providers when required • Provide support for retail stores experiencing system or POS issues • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues • Ensure minimal disruption to store operations • Maintain and support the company’s ERP system (e.g., Pronto or equivalent) • Clean and maintain data including: Old orders, Work orders, Incomplete or incorrect records • Ensure system data remains accurate and usable for reporting and operations • Monitor Salesforce and other platforms for support tickets or alerts • Track issues through to resolution • Maintain clear records of problems and fixes • Assist with user account setup and access management • Support internal systems and applications • Perform routine system checks and basic maintenance tasks.
Job Requirements
- Experience in IT support or helpdesk environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills (remote support essential)
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail environments (preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Pronto) highly regarded
- Understanding of Salesforce or ticketing systems (preferred)
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, devices, connectivity)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
- Must be available to work onsite
- Availability for weekend coverage (Saturday–Monday preferred)

Role Description As an IT Support Specialist at Bird, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees across the organization, ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations in a fully remote environment. You will own helpdesk operations, manage device and identity tooling, and support onboarding and offboarding processes that keep our team running smoothly. Working closely with the Sr. Manager of IT & Security, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure, reliable, and employee-friendly IT environment. You must be responsive, approachable, and thrive in an open, collaborative, and fast-moving startup culture.
