• Develop and own the enterprise data architecture roadmap, aligning it with the company's strategic modernization goals. • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of modern data technologies, including cloud data warehouses, data lakes, data integration tools, and governance platforms. • Design a target-state architecture that supports everything from operational reporting to advanced analytics and machine learning workloads. • Create detailed architectural blueprints for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption patterns across the organization. • Lead the design and oversee the development of robust, scalable, and real-time ETL/ELT data pipelines to migrate and integrate data from legacy on-premise systems to our new cloud platform (Azure). • Establish standards and best practices for data modeling (e.g., dimensional modeling, 3NF), data quality, and metadata management. • Architect solutions that ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and HITECH, for all data at rest and in transit. • Design and implement a comprehensive Master Data Management (MDM) strategy for core entities such as Members, Providers, Claims, and Products. • Partner with security and compliance teams to define data classification, access control, and data masking/anonymization policies within the new architecture. • Serve as the lead technical subject matter expert on data architecture, providing guidance and mentorship to data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists. • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, application developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural alignment and successful solution delivery. • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and architectural designs to both technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers to executive leadership.

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines that pull from Epic Clarity databases, FHIR APIs, and HL7 feeds into Databricks lakehouse architecture • Execute data quality validation and mapping verification for each new workflow deployment • Support 2-4 health system partners as part of a dedicated integration pod • Develop and optimize SQL queries against complex healthcare data models • Contribute to defining reusable data transformation patterns that accelerate future partner onboarding

Role Description CTG is seeking a GCP Data Engineer / Migration Lead to lead Hadoop-to-Google Cloud migrations and modernization initiatives. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable batch and real-time data pipelines, managing cloud-based data platforms, and leading a team through discovery, analysis, and migration workshops. - Lead migration of databases and data objects (tables, views, procedures, triggers) from Hadoop to GCP. - Build and manage pipelines using: - DataProc - DataFlow - BigQuery - BigTable - Cloud Spanner - CloudSQL - AlloyDB - APIs - Implement CDC, bulk, and file-based data replication. - Analyze application dependencies, non-functional requirements, and modernization roadmaps. - Prepare project plans, WBS, RACI, effort estimates, and lead team adoption of tools and best practices. - Orchestrate pipelines via Cloud Composer (Airflow) and Cloud Scheduler. Qualifications - Hands-on experience in Hadoop, Spark (Python/Scala), Airflow, dbt, and GCP data services. - Expertise in batch & real-time pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes. - Strong leadership and team mentoring experience in cloud migration projects. - Proven ability to analyze technical & non-functional requirements. - Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Google Cloud certifications are a plus. - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
