VetCor
• Design, build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across Azure, Databricks, and SQL environments • Develop and support ingestion frameworks (API-based and file-based) across multiple external platforms (PIMS, procurement systems, home delivery vendors) • Implement data quality validation, deduplication logic, reconciliation controls, and financial accuracy checks • Build Spark/Python-based transformation and orchestration logic within Databricks • Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT Governance to align data assets with enterprise reporting standards • Participate in incident management and root cause analysis for production data issues • Create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to reduce single points of failure • Support strategic initiatives requiring scalable, resilient, and compliant data architecture
Job Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in data engineering
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Strong hands-on experience with Spark and Python
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and data pipeline orchestration
- Experience with Azure data services and Databricks
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues quickly
- Advanced knowledge of data governance practices, standards, and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret both high-level patterns and granular datasets
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
- Master’s degree or certifications such as CDMP or DGSP are a plus

Role Description CTG is seeking a GCP Data Engineer / Migration Lead to lead Hadoop-to-Google Cloud migrations and modernization initiatives. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable batch and real-time data pipelines, managing cloud-based data platforms, and leading a team through discovery, analysis, and migration workshops. - Lead migration of databases and data objects (tables, views, procedures, triggers) from Hadoop to GCP. - Build and manage pipelines using: - DataProc - DataFlow - BigQuery - BigTable - Cloud Spanner - CloudSQL - AlloyDB - APIs - Implement CDC, bulk, and file-based data replication. - Analyze application dependencies, non-functional requirements, and modernization roadmaps. - Prepare project plans, WBS, RACI, effort estimates, and lead team adoption of tools and best practices. - Orchestrate pipelines via Cloud Composer (Airflow) and Cloud Scheduler.
