Job Description

Dynamics 365 Application Support Engineer

Dijital Team

• Deliver technical troubleshooting and resolution of application issues in line with Client, and in partnership with Application Vendors. • Ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt handling of tickets, communication with customers and adherence to SLAs. • Investigate and manage to resolution Incidents affecting Functionality, Availability, and Performance. • Undertake tuning and scaling of systems for both performance and security. • Manage security profiles across applications in line with IT security principles. • Systems include: Custom Power Apps. Custom .Net IIS SQL applications with multiple integrations. Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including Precision Forms. Dynamics 365 Sales, and HubSpot and Resco. Prophix (Financial Reporting). • Provide 2nd Level technical and functional support for all ERP and CRM system users. • Deliver client onboarding activities, maintain system training documentation, and provide training to end users. • Evaluate inefficiencies in system functions and recommend optimal business practices. • Document all aspects of systems to ensure knowledge is shared across the wider IT Team. • Comply with client’s quality, environmental and health and safety procedures to proactively develop a culture of, continuous quality improvement and the provision of a healthy and safe workplace, ensuring that all practical steps are taken to meet current OHS requirements. • You are required to familiarise yourself with and comply with all organisation policies and procedures. • And any other reasonable requests from your manager that align with the role and your skill set.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience providing support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or Business Central.
  • Support experience in Custom Power Apps & Custom .Net IIS SQL applications
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • IT Systems, Infrastructure and Application Support knowledge

Role Description Our dynamic Ethos team is seeking a full-time Cash Application Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for strengthening cash flow by ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments in a high-volume, service-based, multi-entity environment. You will work closely with Billing, Collections, and other Finance team members to quickly resolve issues, reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and maintain a clean and current A/R subledger. Key Responsibilities - Payment Posting: Accurately post daily cash (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with correct customer, invoice, and dimension coding. - Remittance Reconciliation: Retrieve and reconcile remittances (lockbox files, customer portals, emailed advices) and resolve unapplied cash quickly. - Dispute Resolution: Research and clear deductions, chargebacks, and short-pays; prepare supporting documentation for approvals or write-offs. - Document Management: Maintain finance documents on the shared drive for accuracy and accessibility. - Finance Support: Assist with other finance duties as needed. - Daily Reporting: Use Excel (lookups) to verify and produce cash application files. - Audit Trail: Maintain copies of remittances and proper receipt documentation for bank deposits. - Master Data Maintenance: Keep customer master data current (contacts, remit info, terms, portals). - Process Improvement: Follow and improve SOPs and internal controls around cash handling, application, and write-offs. - Month-End Close: Support cash cut-off, reconciliations, and assist with external audits.
