Senior Commercial Director – AI Solutions

• Drive AI solutions business growth in APAC, with an emphasis on identifying opportunities and closing deals • Identify client’s pain points and explain how CoverGo AI agents will help solve the pain points • Collaborate closely with our product and delivery teams and help shape our AI product roadmap by sharing market needs and solutions • Be the face of CoverGo as a thought-leader in the region, including media engagements, conferences and industry forums • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality AI opportunities • Build and lead an AI sales team in the region • Grow relationships with leadership at target prospect insurance companies • Build relationships with key partners (consulting firms, channel partners, system integrators, reinsurance companies etc.) to generate indirect sales opportunities and leads • Utilize our standardized methodology to manage the sales processes and accurately forecast business • Build close relationships with existing clients in the region to generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities for AI solutions • Stay on top of market trends and competitive dynamics

Job Requirements

  • Extensive network of decision-makers in the insurance industry in APAC
  • Leadership experience (Director or C-level) in the insurance industry
  • Insurance consulting experience a big plus
  • Experience in driving AI initiatives within the insurance sector
  • Track record of enterprise sales and revenue growth
  • Great communication skills in English (Japanese or Cantonese a plus) and the ability to work effectively in a remote-first international organization
  • Strong domain hands-on knowledge of the insurance value chain and pain points
  • Excellent understanding of the APAC insurance market
  • Self-starter who is able to handle challenges and excited about growing a business in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of enterprise technology sales, SaaS, insurtech, insurance systems architecture and cloud-based technologies
  • Solutions-oriented mindset, always looking for more efficient ways of doing things
  • Strong listening skills, proactive, persuasive, able to influence and adapt to new situations
  • Curious about emerging trends and technologies and the future of insurance industry
  • Passionate about building trusted relationships with C-level insurance executives and providing superior insights on AI solutions that transform business
